Bug#700984: Live image fails to boot (hangs) when using "debug" with LUKS persistence

Package: live-boot
Version: 4.0~a7-1
Severity: important

This may be related to Bug#700902 (marked "resolved", LUKS persistence does actually work in 4.0~a7-1)

When using "debug" with LUKS persistence however the system hangs at this point (the "live-boot" log does not seem to start at all):

ohci_hcd: USB 1.1 'Open' Host Controller (OHCI) Driver

Kernel: 3.2.0-4-686-pae
Architecture: i386
Live image used: custom Wheezy (otherwise working normally) with all live-* packages from sid

I tested this with a syslinux-type usb setup, using a manually rebuilt initrd with /lib/live/ replaced with that from 4.0~a7-1, that should be enough without rebuilding the actual image. It behaves the same on two different machines (but works without "debug")

Can't save the log so it's difficult to give much more info.
