Ok- I've got an amd64 wheezy live-build that uses the ubuntu quantal signed kernel.  Now, which packages do I need to install to get the nvidia and ati prop drivers?  Are these right?

fglrx-control fglrx-driver

nvidia-glx nvidia-kernel-dkms nvidia-xconfig nvidia-settings

not without a debug log and the required information to the image itself (see live-manual about reporting bugs; most of it might be all obvious to people familiar with ubuntu, e.g. what init system you would get by default etc., but it's not obvious for us, as we don't ubuntu).

however, while patches are welcome and we like the idea of using live-* on as many distributions as possible, note that ubuntu support in live-* is best-effort - we'll happily apply patches, but we don't make much of an effort ourselfs to fix-up things after changes/differences in ubuntu.
