basically, the menu should look properly and have dedicated menues for
d-i and live, with a set of options. there are a few bugs/wishlists etc.
in the bts on live-build and syslinux-themes-debian.

ETA end of may; for failsafe, this is supposed to work since the commits
in debian-next from yesterday.
