German language, locale and keyboard

Hello,

till now I used live-helper for Lenny and it works great. Now I tried Squeeze, but I had no success to get a German language, locale and keyboard. This is what I did:

File chroot:
LB_LANGUAGE="de"
LB_LINUX_FLAVOURS="486 686"
LB_LINUX_PACKAGES="linux-image-2.6"
LB_PACKAGES_LISTS="standard-x11"
LB_PACKAGES="abiword geany jwm rungetty xterm"

File binary:
LB_BOOTAPPEND_LIVE="locale=de_DE.UTF-8 keyb=de"

Please can you tell me, what is wrong?
