Hm. Strange. Are you sure it's finding *any* packages? FWIW (Lenny
here), apt does find "linux-image-2.6-686" (which points to the latest
in series). Maybe you have to point it explicitly to a repo? (see options
- --mirror-bootstrap and --mirror-binary).
