Move SELFHTML to non-free?

Hi everyone.

I have already exlpained the situation regarding SELFHTML in the
thread "selfhtml nonfree?" (a few weeks ago). Basically SELFHTML is in
main, but shouldn't be there because it violates (among others) DFSG#8.

I contacted the upstream author, but haven't received any reply within
roughly three weeks. I tried again yesterday, but if I don't get any
reply this time either, I'll move SELFHTML to non-free.

If I get an answer from upstream later on, we can still try to work out
a better solution, maybe upstream is even nice enough to put SEFHTML
under a DFSG-free license, who knows...

There's might still be one problem, though.

The license says that you may not change the *contents* of SELFHTML but
only (as a special exception for Debian, thus the violation of DFSG#8)
the *form* of the document (e.g. links, filenames etc.).

The current orig.tar.gz file misses the link to FTP Explorer which was
removed by the previous Debian maintainer of SELFHTML, I guess.

As long as I don't hear anything else from the author, I'll just assume
that this is OK with the 'you may only change links or filenames' part
of the license... (Even though one might argue that *removing* a link
is different from *changing* a link, but well)...

So, if there are no objections within a few days, I'll do the follwing:

 * Move SELFHTML to non-free.
 * I'll *not* re-add the missing 'FTP Explorer' link to the orig.tar.gz
but use the current orig.tar.gz (which misses the link).

Any comments or suggestions are highly appreciated...

Uwe.
