Re: Jessie update notes?

The problem is that with 'jessie' I don't get any automatic notice, if there are (security) updates available. With  previous versions that was no issue.

I'm using gnome.

Hi Gerardo.

Excuse me, but I don't understand what you mean. Sorry my english is not so good.
I have debian jessie 64bit installed with XFCE-Desktop and I don't have any problems with Debian jessie.
Gérard.

I'm a little surprised to see that haven't got any clarification about the issue.

Is it so that nobody really knows?

Hello,
Please keep me postes about this. I am on Jessie with Gnome too. I thought it was some configuration issue. Is this a bug? Thanks. Regards.
Gerardo

Are you using Gnome? I've noticed this too. After installing KDE I've notice that it notifies me about the updates.

With 'wheezy' I got always notes when updates were available.

What should I do to get 'Jessie' checking every day, if updates are available?
