stock FF installs wherever you put it; if you put it in /opt/firefox,
then you'd symlink plugins into /opt/firefox/plugins/, for a system-wide
plug-ins availability, else, you'd symlink into user's FF plugins
directory, which might/should be something like
~/.mozilla/firefox/<weird-name>/plugins/
