Hi, I use omke.pl [1] to generate scancodes on a Toshiba Satellite m40x (with Phoenix bios). Even with 2.6 kernels, I have to use this script, or the keys just don't send scancodes. Everything works as expected, but some fn+<key> just don't send any scancode. Non-working keys are: * fn+Esc (volume control) * fn+F2 (zoom) * fn+F3 (suspend to ram) * fn+F4 (suspend to disk) * fn+F6 (reduce lcd brightness) * fn+f8 (activate/deactivate wifi chip) The other keys (including multimedia keys at the left of the keyboard) works OK. Here is the DMI of my laptop: BIOS Vendor: TOSHIBA BIOS Version: V1.60 BIOS Release: 06/09/2005 System Vendor: TOSHIBA Product Name: Satellite M40X Version: PSM4XE-01400GFR Serial Number: 55224184K Board Vendor: TOSHIBA Board Name: EAL30 Board Version: Null You can find the DSDT at: http://www.kirya.net/~julien/tmp/TSm40x.aml.bz2 Is there anything I could do to activate these keys? Cheers, Julien [1] http://sourceforge.net/projects/omke/
