Re: Help, installing Nvidia driver

Thx for the great link of how to install nvidia. Okay, i installed
module-assistant. When I ran:

# module-assistant nvidia

Got this msg:
Warning, /usr/src/kernel-source-2.6.8 seems to contain unconfigured
kernel source!

And when i tried to run the NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-6111-pkg1.run directly
without module-assistant, got this:

If you are using a Linux 2.6 kernel, please make sure
you have configured kernel sources matching your kernel
       installed on your system.

Read from an article stated must have .config in the kernel source
directory? How to produce a .config that suits my system? Many thx.
