actually, lately on freshmeat a new release of cdrecord was announced,
containing experimental ide-cd burner support. So no need for ide-scsi for
this particular task anymore. Have not tested that yet, though, but maybe
you're brave enough... ;)
Just wanted to drop a note since I've been looking for that as well quite
some time.
