Making swsuspend work on a ASUS S1300

Hello,

I'm in the process of installing sid on a ASUS S1300 subnotebook. I'm trying
to get the software suspend working.

I've installed the patch from http://people.debian.org/~baruch/deb/ and the
suspend script from Florent Chabaud (fchabaud.free.fr)

I can suspend and restore a X session but my usb keyboard, the usb mouse
plugged in the keyboard and the usb floppy are not restored.

How can you stop usb services before suspending and restore it after. I've
tried /etc/init.d/hotplug stop as root but the computer answers Operation not
permitted.

Any hint?

Cheers,
Charles
