Also, when using the "kernel-pcmcia-modules-2.4.*" package, I've been
forced to use
PCIC="yenta_socket"
for getting PCMCIA to work. You can try modprobe'ing the drivers (tcic,
i82365, yenta) manually, to see which one works.
