Suspend and resume are working great (as > usual :) > I seem to have discovered the source of the problem. I was playing with the tools from toshutils, and pressed "Defaults" to check the default BIOS settings, then pressed "cancel" to get back to my own settings. But the default settings set the power button to switch off when pressed, rather than going into suspend mode. I appear to have inadvertently saved those settings, so it was my BIOS that caused me the problems. I've now set the BIOS back to go into "suspend" when I press the power button, and all's working fine again.
