That is not entirely correct. There are warnings, but somehow the build is
able to continue, so the pdf _is_ generated. It, as well as the text
format, is even available from alioth:

- - http://d-i.alioth.debian.org/manual/es.i386/install.es.txt
The buildone.sh script (in trunk) now fully supports building html, pdf,
ps and txt formats :-)
P.S. I have today finished a script to update the translations in the
Sarge branch from trunk. I did the first synchronization today.
