Debian Med Sprint this Thursday through Monday, Bucharest

Hello all,

For those with an interest in sustainable community co-maintenance of (biomedical) research software, reproducibility and the intersection of those topics with the Debian Linux and the Common Workflow Language communities, I invite you to join us in Bucharest, Romania for a Debian Med sprint co-sponsored and hosted by the Faculty of Biology, University of Bucharest.

https://wiki.debian.org/Sprints/2017/DebianMed2017

The event runs from Thursday, January 12th through Monday, January 16th.

This is an informal co-working and co-learning event, participants are welcome to attend on the days that work for their schedule.

Debian Med is a team of contributors to the Debian Linux distribution that focuses on the team maintenance of biomedical and hospital related software packages.

The Common Workflow Language project is a community written open standard for describing computational data analysis workflows; the early adopters are from bioinformatics but it is gaining traction (and designed for) other fields
