01.12.2002 new lang in DDTP
We have a new language in the project: Spanish!
We got some previously translated descriptions from a
spanish translation project. You can get more info at:

Hello

This is an automatic mail from "Debian Description Translation Server".
Several translators can translate the package description and the server
coordinate their works.

The email address from server: desc@ddtp.debian.org
The master of the server: Michael Bramer <grisu@debian.org>
Homepage: http://ddtp.debian.org/

This is a general guide. If you use this server as translator, you
will get a more specific guide with languages depends notes.

Supported <langpostfix> are now:
  da (Danish)
  de (German)
  cs (Czech)
  fr (French)
  hu
  it (Italian)
  ja (Japanese)
  nl (Dutch)
  pl (Polish)
  pt_BR (Brazilian Portuguese)
  ru (Russian)
  sk
  sv_SE
  uk (Ukrainian)

Notes:

 * Give server commands in the Subject line
 * Send data (for example) as attachment to the server

 Possible commands:
  - GET 2 <langpostfix>
    request two untranslated descriptions
you can insert other values (1-) instead the "2".
  - STATUS <langpostfix>
request a status report for the language "<langpostfix>"
  - noguide
don't print this guide in the server answer
  - nothing
don't send new descriptions, status etc.

Use the translated Packagefiles:

Insert only in your /etc/apt/sources.lists file one of these lines:
 deb http://ddtp.debian.org/aptable <langpostfix>/potato main
 deb http://ddtp.debian.org/aptable <langpostfix>/woody main
 deb http://ddtp.debian.org/aptable <langpostfix>/sid main

After a 'apt-get update' all tools (dselect, gnome-apt, deity, ...)
 use the translated Description.
