Some general revamping.

The synopsis uses a sentence style which we used in several other
packages.

And other paragraph also do the same, while still keeping the
recommendation of not purging if users want to keep the data.

Hello Christian, all the proposed changes are fine with me, just notice for this one that this question gets asked on package removal (I've done some research to see if this is allowed by debian policy, and found a bug report about it where no definitive consensus was reached). So maybe here it should be made clear that the data is going to be removed right after you answer "yes".

Anyway, for once, I took a lot of time reviewing this. Probably
because I find it VERY interesting to see that we do not only
provide a gazillionth development language or obscure library....but
something that is really useful to end users..:-)

I nearly regret that I don't run a B&B myself as I would even have
managed it using free software, thanks to you..:-)

Thanks for your time and interest! Sorry that I can't answer very fast now, but I'm currently on vacation out of home... Anyway I will try to send you later today or tomorrow the updated debian templates with the new questions about username/password (this will probably change a little also the question about "restrict to local access"). How should I send you the updated template? Can I attach it to the email?

I think that I'll post a small note on Planet Debian about this new package.

That would be great, thank you.

While at it: is HD internationalized and therefore translatable? If it
is, and particularly if it uses gettext for translation(PO files), I
think that the whole Debian i18n crowd would be delighted to complete
its translation and probably bring more languages into it.

It can be translated but does not use gettex, sorry. That's mainly because depending on the gettext extension for php would have lead to too many help requests from people that don't have it installed. I mantain the Italian/English/Spanish translations, for other languages there are contributed packages (most of them are out of date) that you can find here:

Best regards,
Marco
