Good idea, not without reason I wrote "transiently maintained" ;).
However, I'd like to see an easy naming scheme for the different
questions in order to allow pointing to them ("Q03" or "A13"). I also
would like to see the option of generating a plain text version of the
FAQ as well, so we can place it also onto the image or print it on booklets.
The different sub-FAQs should be chapters or sections of one unified
FAQ. Knoppix has one big problem: It lacks good naming conventions in
several places. One example is the versioning of the image which I'm
talking to Klaus about for almost two years now. However, whatever at
least _I_ tell him, he will just do the opposite ;)
Having several FAQs with slightly different names on websites with
slightly different URLs can render quite confusing.

What about this roadmap:
1. I collect repsonses to the persistency FAQ for the next two weeks.
2. We/I think about reordering the questions and answers in a sensible
way of the persistency FAQ.
3. I hand you over the text (and resposibility ;) of the FAQ.
4. Integration as a section "Persistency" to the Knoppix documentation project.
TODO:
Maybe someone wants to start a re-localization sub-FAQ as well?
BTW, I tried to enter somthing in your WIKI, but failed. I know about
the concept of WIKIs but never used one myself.

Nils Magnus
