Nice. How many bytes does it add to the kernel or the bootfloppy? If
your answer is "0", and it is stable also on non-framebuffer cards,
I'm willing to think about it. ;-)
Starting with Kernel 2.4.20, I have to optimize the kernel for size with
-Os, because otherwise it won't fit on the bootfloppy anymore.
