So there has been progress on the inclusion of this firmware into
the upstream linux-firmware git repository.

QCA988X hw2.0 firmware is already there:

The other firmwares have not yet been included. I pinged Kalle Valo about
this.

Dear kernel maintainers, can we have an update with this firmware
included? TIA. I'm raising the severity to important as the main blocker
(inclusion in linux-firmware.git) is gone and this firmware is required
for some relatively widespread devices.
