We would probably only upgrade wireless drivers as a separate package
(compat-drivers) because the kernel's wireless driver API changes quite
often. This will not happen for wheezy.

The sensible method is to install both the kernel and initramfs-tools
from wheezy-backports. (initramfs-tools from jessie won't work without
upgrading several other packages.)
