Package: src:linux
Version: 3.5-1~experimental.1
Severity: normal
Usertags: pca.it-boot

Hi there!

The Samsung NP-Q1u [1] has on-device (slightly difficult for everyday
usage) and USB-external keyboards. Starting from 3.5-1~experimental.1
this latter is no more available at the cryptsetup prompt, while it
works as expected in GRUB-2 and GNOME-3.

[1] <http://bugs.debian.org/682737>

The same behavior happens with 3.5.2-1~experimental.1, but it did not
with 3.4.4-1~experimental.1 or 3.2.23-1. However, the differences in
the initrd content does not seem relevant:

I also tried to add usbhid to /etc/initramfs-tools/modules, but nothing
changed. Any ideas?

Thx, bye,
