Hi,
After upgrade to 2.6.37, I started having tons of errors like those shown
below, about MCE. This happens in all terminals, in a sid box that did not
show this problem until 2.6.37 is installed.

Browsing a bit about this, seems that Andi Kleen patch in
http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/ak/linux-mce-2.6.git;a=commitdiff;h=6e3c7411d2b86bff210c59caa432e8e862037bfd
may help.
Pointed to it by last question in

Sending minimal info because above info seems enough. Let me know if
extensive info is needed. Running on AMD K7.

This problem was also present in the 2.6.39 series. However, I can no longer
reproduce it with new kernel 3.0.0. Closing this bug report.
