Bug#609638: include p4-clockmod on linux-image

I have the same problem as Rogério Brito, Tue, 11 Jan 2011

A public school depends on two Fujitsu PRIMERGY Econel 200 servers of 5 (five) years old, containing Xeon 2.8 GHz processors, ...

If I compile a custom kernel, then I will miss the security updates, ...
hence I open a security hole.

The public school has no climate opportunity, therefore the Xeon processor running 2.8 GHz in hot summer turns the ventillators on high speed, risking a cooling failure.

Even a fixed 350 MHz setting would be a satisfactory solution for the hot summers.

But if the p4-clockmod is not there in the official debian kernel release, then I risk either a cooling failure or a security hole.

I can imagine a solution, that p4-clockmod will be included WITHOUT debian guarante, ... that is, a bug report can be accepted only if the bug is still there even if the p4-clockmod module is removed.
