Bug#622842: Same problem here
Hello,
I'm also facing the same problem of the original reporter: using the
same hardware and embedded wifi adapter cannot stay authenticated with
the AP.
Computer: Compaq Mini CQ10-520
root@stt300:~# lspci -v |grep -i broad

root@stt300:~# iw reg get

(5735 - 5835 @ 40), (6, 20), PASSIVE-SCAN, NO-IBSS
After switching off/on the wifi button and issuing "iw reg set EU"
adapter gets authenticated with the AP but lasts 5 minutes, after that
it gets unlinked again.
root@stt300:~# dmesg|grep cfg80211

Nedless to say that using another wifi card work well (tested with
rt73 and rt2xxx drivers) and changing the AP to another tx channel
makes no difference at all (tested with 1, 3, 6, 9 and 11).
P.S. Not sure if I have to set additional CC addresses in thid bug.
Greetings,
