Sorry for replying so late, but yes, I can reproduce it reliably.

No improvement with linux-image-3.0.0-rc5.

The first affected version seems to be 2.6.38-1.

I'll do that when I get some time, which may not be for a few weeks
though, since I got some exams coming up.
