I believe there has been a misunderstanding here. You originally reported that the management software and firmware considered the current driver version number to be too low. Another user later followed-up to say that this version was missing support for recent 'Megaraid' hardware. I added the support for new hardware, and some other bug fixes, but I did not update the reported version number because I did not realise that it was really important. Another user has pointed out to me on IRC that it can cause a warning light to show constantly on some systems, which may mask real errors. I'm sorry for not understanding this.
