I have no idea where that was stated.
I had found that on ubuntu boards some time ago.

Weird.
well, I knew that it was hacky,... I had lot of troubles with it, and never could make 2 gamepads 360 under linux work with xpad.

Irrelevant criticism like this does not motivate volunteers to fix your
problem.
I am sorry
I spend many many days or months with trying... really
sorry again

~$ ls /dev/input/
by-id    event1   event12  event15  event3  event6  event9  js2  js5  js8     mouse1  mouse4  mouse7
by-path  event10  event13  event16  event4  event7  js0     js3  js6  mice    mouse2  mouse5  mouse8
event0   event11  event14  event2   event5  event8  js1     js4  js7  mouse0  mouse3  mouse6  mouse9

it is easy.
If you put one gamepad microsoft you get until js4

if you put two, you get till js8

dgen doesnt like that at all

zsnes either

one gamepad = one joystick shall be for being seen for linux

this bug is present since over 6 months

You mean it doesn't appear in lsusb?  If so, then the hardware is
faulty.
oh I pasted the one gamepad info. to let you know the id of the device.
If i plug those 2, dmesg, and linux see them but affect wrong their input and so on for zsnes

Why not, if it is faulty?
no no those 2 gamepad work under windows XP. It is pitty that linux is not capable to see gamepads well. :(  Lot of gamers still under linux.

Ben.
Thanks Ben for your assistance

Let me know, I gonna try hard your ideas  to finally have this working well !!
