Bug#560389: I receive this error as well

All,

I get the same error as the original submitter with the following
caveats:

1) I'm running AMD64 instead of i386.
2) I don't get any screen flickering or performance degredation.  I just
get the error on my screen when I shut down GDM.
3) I use GDM rather than XDM.

This is current as of kernel version 2.6.32-11.
