Bug#568557: linux-image-2.6.32-2-amd64: keyboard and mouse lockup, system is still running (asus_atk0110?)

Justification: renders package unusable

Keyboard and mouse lock after a short random time.
The system is still running, have to shutdown with power button.
I have to make this bug report with another kernel, since i can't
predict the remaining time to lockup.
There is no information in the syslog, it just ends.

I have a suspect.
This is a new box with an asus P7P55D board.
>From the beginning, i had problems with the asus_atk0110 module,
with exactly the same symptom.
I was in contact to the asus_atk0110 kernel maintainer to no avail,
since then, and for other reasons, i used a self built kernel (2.6.32.2)

Now i tried the mentioned debian stock kernel.
But even *without* loaded asus_atk0110, keyboard and mouse locked up.
Don't know what to do here.
