Subject: linux-image-2.6-amd64: Please update to depend on latest kernel
Package: linux-image-2.6-amd64

Can this package be updated more frequently in Sid to depend on the
latest kernel, as 2.6.32-2 is out today I see; yet this is still
depending on the old -trunk release.

It makes checking for updates much more time consuming without it.

no concrete code nor suggestion how to solve this.
also this what unstable is for to sync such releases.

Requiring stable ABI is a price to pay for.
closing as nothing new.

this needs just a bit of patience, also it is important for us
not to sync if we know that a specific release had a huge regression.
