Bug#475319: linux-image-2.6.24-1-amd64: Hangs on boot after "ACPI: Battery slot [BAT1] (battery present)"

2.6.24 hangs during boot, after the following messages. Only a hard
reset can restore it.

I also tested this with 2.6.25-rc8 version
2.6.25~rc8-1~experimental.1~snapshot.11052 and got the same freeze.

2.6.22 works fine.
