Bug#281209: kernel-source-2.6.9: open("/dev/lp0", O_WRONLY|O_NONBLOCK) blocks

Hi Timothy,

In November 2004 you've filed a bug against Debian's 2.6.9 kernel package 
[0]. I'm sorry that there was no reaction to your bug for such a long 
time. Could you please confirm that the problem you're experiencing may be 
reproduced with any Debian kernel which is currently in the archive? I'd 
appreciate if you would send the update within two weeks, otherwise I plan 
to close the bug on April 26, 2006.
