Package: kernel-image-2.6.8-10-em64t-p4
Version: 2.6.8-11

The following kernel trap happens on a Dell Precision Workstation 670 using
the kernel compiled for em64t. It happens with both the -smp kernel and the
single CPU kernel and it doesn't seem to depend upen whether or not HT is
turned on or off. After the last line in the kernel boot log below the machine
hangs.

The machine does however run fine using the standard kernel-image-2.6.8-2-386
kernel.

Hi,

This bug was pinged back in November 2005, and no response has been received since. I think it's fair to assume at this point that the bug is no longer relevant, so I'm closing it. If you're the bug submitter, please feel free to reopen it at any point with updated information.

Thanks,
