Debian etch with linux-kernel 2.6.15 does not boot

Ciao to everyone!
I'm using Debian testing (etch) with this sources.list:



deb ftp://ftp.it.debian.org/debian/ testing main contrib non-free
deb-src ftp://ftp.it.debian.org/debian/ testing main contrib non-free

deb ftp://ftp.nerim.net/debian-marillat/ etch main

deb http://secure-testing.debian.net/debian-secure-testing/ 
etch/security-updates main contrib non-free



I have 2 kernels to choose from grub at boot: 2.6.12 and 2.6.15
2.6.12 works but 2.6.15 does not.
If I try to boot 2.6.15 it give me a lot of errors like:


udevd-event [xxxx]:run_program:exec of program /lib/udev/usb_id failed
udevd-event [xxxx]:run_program:exec of program /lib/udev/scsi_id failed
udevd-event [xxxx]:run_program:exec of program /lib/udev/usbmount failed
udevd-event [xxxx]:run_program:exec of program /lib/udev/vol_id failed


and then stops on a shell prompt, because it cannot mount the root disk 
(/dev/sdc2) a serial-ata device.
I search a lot around on internet but without luck.
Is there anybody that could help me?
