Tested with kernel-image-2.6.11-1-k7-smp from unstable and the problem is
gone - but not from Sarge.
There are other problems with 2.6.11 - looks like I can't build nvidia
drivers (actually I would like to find a 3d card with OSS drivers and a DVI
connector)
