Hello,

I updated to version 2.6.8-5 of kernel-image-2.6.8-1-686 and it got worse
again:

At least half of the boots now again stop at:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
PCI: Using configuration table type 1
mtrr: v2.0 (20020519)
ACPI: Subsystem revision 20040326
ACPI: IRQ9 SCI: Edge to Level Trigger
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Since it boots after several tries even when I do not change anything
regarding the hardware and since it also seems to be unrelated whether
the AVM Fritzcard PCMCIA is inserted or not, I tend to think that there
are still kernel problems left.

It stops at a different line as before, so I probably better file a
different bug report?

Oppinions?

BTW with kernel-image-2.6.9-1-686 I get something similar almost all of
the times. I will file a bug report about this at a later time.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
No local APIC present or hardware disabled
...
Enabling fast FPU save and restore... done
Enabling unmasked SIMD FPU exception support... done
Checking 'hlt' instruction... OK
ACPI: IRQ9 SCI: Edge set to Level Trigger
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
