Package: Kernel-image-2.6.9-k7 (but also 686)
Version: 2.6.9-2

Apt-get update/upgrade came with an update for the 2.6.9 kernel (prolly the
ac-patch?)

The script removes the symlink /initrd.img but doesnt place it back...
a: dpkg-reconfigure didnt help...

the sollution was easy: ln -s /boot/initrd.img-2.6.9-1-k7 /initrd.img
then i've ran lilo again, reboot.. and it works like a charm...

seems to me like a small thingie, but can be anoying :)

i'm using debian unstable: Linux spud 2.6.9-1-k7 #1 Tue Nov 16 18:33:58 JST
2004 i686 GNU/Linux
