Not even 2 days before, I ran memtest86+ v1.30 for about 24 hours with
no errors, and I ran it with no errors for about 7 days straight when I
added new ram and CPU just about 2-3 months ago.
But as I said, maybe it's the drive. I think the disk is fine (no
tell-tale clicking or unexplained disk slowdowns), so maybe I did
something with hdparm. Haven't had the problem since resetting hdparm's
previous values and a couple reboots (once to refresh 2.6.9-1 and once
to boot the newly compiled 2.6.9-2).
O.o
Again, very sorry for the bad report. At least there's nothing anyone
needs to worry about. :-) Please feel free to close this bug at your
convenience, if not already done so by the time I send this.
