md5sum is the same. I didn't have debsums before; I have debsums now.

Redownloaded from the same source. In the future I'll try different
sources.
I checked the bzip2 many times (-t). It usually errors, but in
different spots. I have run memtest86+ a few days ago and the RAM was
fine. :-\ Maybe the disk is flaky. I've been meaning to change to a
bigger drive; guess it'll be sooner rather than later.
Sorry for jumping the gun on this one. :) I'll have to assess my own
hardware.
