Hi Anton,
thanks for the bug report, and thanks for the .config.
I took a quick look at it and it seems that the most critical change
is turning off CONFIG_M686 and enabling CONFIG_MCYRIXIII, which
makes sense given the CPU you have.
There was a decision a while ago not to add any new flavours
until after the release of sarge. However there are a couple under
considertation for post-sarge. I will leave this bug open as a request
for a C3 flavour post-sarge.
