why is it symlinked or copied to the location specified by you in the official
debian kernel but not with make-kpkg. i can't find any parameter of make-kpkg
for defining this or any other solution, except compiling the vesafb static
into the kernel instead as module. (see also

ok, the bug was in front of the display, sorry.
from my side, the bug can be closed; I haven't opened the bug.
