Removing / Renaming this file does NOT show the symptome after logoff/login:
$ mv ~/.config/ksmserverrc ~/dot-config_ksmserverrc
$ cat ~/dot-config_ksmserverrc
[LegacySession: saved at previous logout]
count=0
[Session: saved at previous logout]
count=0
I will re-check with warm/cold reboot.
