Hi Soren,

many thanks for your reply.

The problem also occured in kmail running on Manjaro. But with the Manjaro 
stable upgrade today to Version 6.4.2 (25.04.2) the issue is gone. Could also 
be a fix in e.g. akonadi though.

On trixie with kmail 24.12.3 I still see the issue. I assume it is too late to 
do kmail upgrade on trixie, given that 25.04 is not even in experimental.

I will open a bug report against kmail, though I have little hope that 
somebody is able to identify the right fix in the kmail commits and the 
regression against bullseye gets fixed.
