After having looked at a black desktop with only moving mouse, installing below from SID made it work :=)

The last and missing bits to install QML/workerscript (not done
automatically here - kinfocenter/systemsettings/plasma-desktop
crashing):

Then I was able to enjoy the new KDE plasma-desktop version 6.1.

KDE/apps partly from experimental like konsole - akonadi/kmail etc.
still works but from unstable.

The upgrade was mostly done manually - some QT packages were required
from unstable.
