Thank you for your advice. I reverted the packages to the ones available in sid. Now waiting for okular to upgrade.... I really miss it when working with these PDF files Thank you
The strange thing is that here in "sid"
okular works correctly.

However I can reproduce the error if I run
okular from a homedir without .mozilla (where it seems to look
for some certs)
