You want ot install plasma-workspace-dbgsym from the automatic debug packages [1] repositories:
deb http://debug.mirrors.debian.org/debian-debug/ unstable-debug main [1]: https://wiki.debian.org/AutomaticDebugPackagesThe backtrace is in a waitpid, probably ps fax can tell you which are are the plasmashell children that it's waiting for. In general, though, you need to get the backtraces from all the threads:
thread apply all btMore on https://wiki.debian.org/HowToGetABacktrace and https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports
