I think this is already covered. From --help:

    -nt or --new-tab                    open new tab
    -nw or --new-window                 open new window
...
    -ct=URL or --current-tab=URL        open URL in current tab
    -ow=URL or --open-window=URL        open URL in new window

Rekonq - seems to be going the same way as Konqueror.
Arora - IMO a bit /too/ basic for daily use.
