It appears that the fix applied to qt5base-opensource-src 5.5.1+dfsg-8
in relation to the bug: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-46323
has improved things.

The new gcc-5 libraries seemed to have caused problems also.

Both iceweasel and chromium locking up today.

Both run stable here. With Intel Sandybridge graphics (still on UXA,
although
EXA might be fine again).

Thanks, I've been able to shut down slightly more gracefully by killing
the kdeinit5 processes after killing the browser processes.

I've only had one lock-up with chromium started from the KDE start menu
(kdeinit5) today, but iceweasel still needs to be started from a konsole
command line to avoid locking up.

Arthur.

With an update to KDE from unstable, iceweasel from unstable locked up every time until I upgraded iceweasel to experimental. Now iceweasel runs fine under KDE.

As previously mentioned running with Radeon 3200HD (RS780) and vdpau libraries installed.

Arthur.
